Statement from the Blick Family and The Board of Kansas Car Shows Inc. To Wichita and the car show community: On December 27, 2025, we lost a husband, father, Papa, best friend, community leader, follower of Jesus, and arguably the biggest cheerleader for the City of Wichita. Joshua loved his family and people with every fiber of his being and devoted his life to serving others. His passing leaves a tremendous hole in the City of Wichita and in the countless lives he touched through community service and Kansas Car Shows Inc. We are devastated and heartbroken. We covet your prayers, and we ask that you also remember in prayer the other families affected by this horrific accident. We are deeply grateful for the many people who have reached out with condolences and sympathy; your love and support mean more than words can express. We have a simple message for the City of Wichita and beyond: love one another. Josh truly tried to live out that principle every day. We know many of you are asking how you can help. In honor of Joshua’s heart for service, we believe he would want you to look for ways to help your community and the people around you who are in need. For those who still wish to give, we ask that any financial gifts, cards, or other expressions of support be given at the donation section of our website. The Automobilia Moonlight Car Show was bought by Joshua from the late Gary Carpenter to continue the legacy Gary started. Joshua expanded the car show to help support nonprofits and people in need in the City of Wichita. This will honor Joshua’s legacy and allow him to continue impacting the lives of the people of Wichita through the work he loved. With Love |
